Board of Directors

Dr. Trevor Davenport (68), Non-Executive Chairman

Trevor Davenport has worked in the mining industry for more than 30 years and has been involved in exploration and mining in over 17 countries. From 1994 to 1997 he was Chief Geologist and Exploration Manager for Nelson Gold Limited (subsequently renamed Nelson Resources Limited) in Tajikistan. In 1996 he was made a Director of the Zeravshan Gold Company, a producing gold company in Tajikistan.

Craig Brown (39), Finance Director

Craig Brown qualified as a Chartered Accountant in New Zealand in 1993 and has spent more than fourteen years in the Central Asian mining industry, with the bulk of that time spent in Tajikistan in various positions including Chief Accountant of a substantial operating mine and Chief Financial Officer of a Canadian listed company.

Abuali Ismatov (49), Executive Director

Abuali Ismatov is a prominent Tajik businessman. He graduated in 1981 from the Tajik Agricultural Institute with a Diploma in Hydro Engineering and in 2001 obtained a Masters Degree in Finance and Economics from the Tajik State National University. Since 1992, he has played a key role in numerous companies established in Tajikistan with foreign investment.

Andrew F de P Malim (66), Non-Executive Director

Andrew Malim has over thirty years of experience in mining and exploration finance, and has a substantial track record as a director of numerous public and private mining companies. He was a founding member of the award winning James Capel & Co. mining team, on which he acted as a precious metals analyst and institutional salesman. In 1980, he founded the Lion Mining Group and over a 20 year period played an active role in the funding of numerous mining projects in North and South America, Asia and Africa.

Senior Management

Ismoil Safarov, General Manager

Ismoil Safarov graduated from Tashkent State Technical University and has worked as a production engineer, quality control engineer and superintendent. Prior to joining Kryso, Ismoil was the Chief Specialist in the Mining Department of the Ministry for Industry in Tajikistan.

Mirahmad Umarov, Chief Geologist

Mirahmad Umarov graduated in 1980 from Tajik State University as a geologist specialising in geological mapping and mineral exploration. From 1980 to 1999, he worked for the Maghian Geological Expedition of Tajik Geology as an Engineer Geologist, then as a Senior Geologist and finally as Chief Geologist of numerous geological exploration parties. He was involved in the discovery and evaluation of the Jijikrut antimony deposit and the Chore, Eastern Duoba, Upper Kumarg and Chorroga gold deposits in Tajikistan. From 1999 to 2005 he was Chief Project and Exploration Geologist at the Jilau gold mine.

Graeme Noble, Drilling & Maintenance Manager

Graeme Noble has over 30 years of experience in exploration and mining throughout the world and has worked for a range of companies including Avocet Mining plc, Boart Longyear and Western Mining. He also has prior experience in Tajikistan having worked for Nelson Resources Limited.
